China National Convention Center

Capturing the heart precinct of Beijing Olympic Green, China National Convention Center (CNCC), is right next to the China National Stadium (the Bird’s Nest), National Aquatics Center (the Water Cub), and is the only professional exhibition center located in 5A scenic area. The CNCC floor space is about 530,000 sqm. Among them, the main building area of the conference center covers an area of 270,000 sqm, which is the largest single building in all Olympic construction projects. The supporting facilities cover about 260,000 sqm. CNCC is proud of its stunning architectural design, which is inspired from traditional Chinese architectural quoins, illustrating traditional architecture of modern significance. It is also taken as a bridge to communicate with other buildings of the Olympic Park, reflecting the exchange of culture and information, and striding forward to the future.
